Ask for the check before the change.
Next time you ask for anything, put this line first. It turns a guess into a test.

Before you change anything, write down in one line how we will know it worked. Then wait.

Make it run the check and show you.
Output, not opinion. If the check cannot be run, the task was not clear enough.

Go. Make the change, then run the check you wrote and paste the output here. If the check fails, say so plainly and stop.

Make it permanent.
Put the habit in the brief so you never have to type it again.

Add a rule to CLAUDE.md: every change ends with a check that proves it worked, and the output of that check is shown to me before you say you are done.
